Statehood Restoration as Certain as Sun Rising in East : LG Manoj Sinha

Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday said that restoration of statehood is as certain as the sun rising from the east.

LG made these remarks while addressing a gathering in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district during an event, appeared to be a pointed response to the National Conference’s repeated pledges to restore statehood—a task, he suggested, that requires no political efforts.

“The assurance that the government gives in the parliamentary session is as true as the sun rising from the east,” LG said adding that no one has to make any effort in this.
