Meet Parvaiz Nawpori,singer ,composer ; His songs are breaking Internet

Anantnag 17 March: It was the 4th day after his mother had passed away when Parvaiz sang the first Kashmiri song “Moji” in memory of his late mother. Fortunately, the song went viral on social media,  was watched by millions of people on youtube, said Parvaiz Nawpori, while speaking with Arising state’.

Parvaiz,33 hails from the south Kashmirs Nawpora area of Kulgam District and is a businessman by his profession. However, Parvaiz pursues his singing career as part-time and owns a band by the name of “Parvaiz Nawpori Production”, where at least 15 people are currently working, all associated with instrumental songs including classical, folk, Rap and comedy songs with experienced musicians.

Parvaiz composes his own Kashmiri songs and later shares them on social media platforms. Parvaiz has created a small studio at his home for singing purpose.

Parvaiz is the father of two kids and is the youngest son of his parents.

Parvaiz was drawn to singing when his mother lost the battle of cancer and died on 23 November 2017. It was the 4th day after the demise of parvaiz’s mother when Parvaiz took to writing and singing sad songs. ”On the 4th day after her death, I was sitting alone in my room, recalling fondest and bygone memories of my mother. I was feeling emotional and blue,   thinking about the things we laughed about, the sound of her voice, the feeling of a hug from her, was too excruciating, too surreal. I could now understand what I had lost,” said Parvaiz in a quavering voice.

Parvaiz yearns to write and sing sad songs, as he feels more connected to them. Almost 9 sad songs on mother, sung by Pervaiz, among the nine songs, one song has already gone viral on social media by the title “Moj .

Parvaiz has bought almost all kinds of musical instruments to devote his time to singing passion. Parvaiz has received several awards after singing Kashmiri songs in different programs. Recently, he has received an award from the MTC sports club Srinagar.So far, Pervaiz has sung several Kashmiri songs, mostly sad songs,  dedicated on mothers theme.

Meanwhile, hundreds of people have subscribed to paravaiz’s YouTube channel and  Paravaiz is uploading a new Kashmiri song every week on his channel .

Govt introduces MFA Security System on JK BEAMS Portal Jammu:The Finance Department of the Jammu and Kashmir Government has implemented Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) through Sandes (SMS-based authentication) on the JK BEAMS Portal to further strengthen the security framework of the online financial management system.According to an official circular issued by the department, the MFA system has been successfully integrated into the live environment and all concerned officers and users have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the new security protocols. The circular applies to all Director Finances, Director Plannings, Financial Advisors (FAs), Chief Accounts Officers (CAOs), Accounts Officers (AOs), Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs), and Maker/Checker users associated with the JK BEAMS Portal. The department has emphasized that Maker/Checker users shall be solely responsible for the secure handling, confidentiality and proper use of their login credentials. Users have been strictly instructed not to share login details, one-time passwords (OTPs) or any authentication-related information with any unauthorized person under any circumstances. Officials have also been directed to ensure that their registered mobile numbers linked with Sandes remain active, valid and accessible for receiving authentication messages. Any discrepancy, authentication failure or technical issue is required to be reported immediately through the official email IDs issued by the department. The circular further stated that the respective Maker/Checker users will be held solely accountable for any transaction or activity carried out using their credentials.The order has been issued with the approval of the competent authority under reference number FD-BDGTODBT/1/2025-PMU-FD (7651222), and copies have been forwarded to all Administrative Secretaries for information and necessary compliance.
