Forces launch cordon and search operations in Sumlar in north Kashmir’s Bandipora

Security  forces on Monday launched cordon and search operation in Gujjarpati area of Sumlar in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district .

Official sources told local news agency that Army’s 14 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched the operation in the village after a tip off about the presence of militants in the area.

Earlier, a CASO was also launched at Mir Mohalla Hajin in the Bandipora district which ended later.
