Fire damages hotel in Gulmarg,tourists evacuated safely

A Fire has gutted a hotel and caused damage to its building at the world-famous tourist resort of Gulmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

A police official said that fire erupted from a hotel building this afternoon, causing serious damage to it.

However,no one was injured in the incident, few tourists who were staying at the hotel when the fire broke out were safely evacuated,as per police.

The cause of the fire is being investigated, said the official.
