Cordon and search operation launched in Aripal Tral in south Kashmir

Srinagar:Security forces on Saturday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Aripal locality of  the Tral township in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A police source said that CASO was launched by a joint party of the police, army and the CRPF in Aripal on Saturday morning.

He said that the operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

The door-to-door searches were going on when this report was filed.
