Three residential houses gutted in fire in valley

Three residential houses were damaged in separate incidents of fire in Kashmir,according to reports. Wednesday.

Two houses were gutted in Nowhatta area of Downtown area of Srinagar ,while one house caught fire in Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, said an official.

Reports said that fire originated from a residential house of Manzoor Ahmed Bhat in Ranghamam area of Nowhatta and soon spread to the house of Saleem Chaloo.

However, timely intervention of Fire and Emergency Services and the locals brought the fire under control.

Locals said that fire caused heavy damages to both the residential houses.

In Tangmarg, a residential house shared by two brothers, Farooq Ahmad Malik and Abdul Hamid Malik, were razed to the ground in a nocturnal fire incident in Kampora village.
