Yatri injured as shooting stone hits vehicle
A pilgrim on the way to Amarnath cave met with an accident and sustained injuries on Srinagar-Jammu highway in the state’s Ramban district. According to media reports, a pilgrim was today injured after a vehicle he was travelling in, was hit by a shooting stone in Ramban. The shooting stone rolled down from a hilltop and hit the vehicle (Tavera), resulting in injuries to the pilgrim.
Soon after the accident, the pilgrim was subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital for the treatment.
Pertinently, from last many months around sixty people lost their lives in tragic road accidents in J&K.
