Yasir Reshi Set to Join AIP

Srinagar, Sep 02 : Former MLC Yasir Reshi, who recently announced his departure from the Peoples Conference, is expected to join the Awami Ithehad Party (AIP), led by Er Rasheed, in Srinagar today. Reshi’s decision to join AIP comes after discussions with his supporters.

“Talks are ongoing with AIP, and I may join either today or tomorrow,” Reshi stated.
On August 27, he formally separated from the Peoples Conference. Earlier, there were reports suggesting that he might return to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), which he left in 2021 before joining the Peoples Conference. (KNS)
