Flash Flood, Mudslide Hits Kullan Kangan, Blocks Srinagar-Leh Highway

Ganderbal, September 2: A flash flood, possibly triggered by a cloudburst, struck the Kullan Kangan area in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday afternoon, leading to the closure of the Srinagar-Leh highway.

Fortunately, there are no reports of any loss of life or damage to property. Traffic on both sides of the highway remains suspended due to the flooding near Kullan.
