Wildlife casual labourers demand inclusion of all names in fresh list

The casual labourers of wildlife protection department have demanded inclusion of all the names in the list issued recently.

The casual labourers of Bijbehara Division informed that they are 452 casual labourers presently working in the above said division “with the great zeal and dedication from last so many years.”

They said that they are putting their lives on risk in tackling man animal conflicts and protection of green gold.

The labourers however rued that department officals are playing with the future of most of the casual labourers.

A press release issued reads that “since the department recently asked all the wildlife Wardens for submission of the list of the casual labourers and our Division office also registered only 250 out of 452 casual labourers, most of whom are relatives of employees working either in the Division office and in Ranges are registered as bribe givers.”

They demanded immediate inclusion of all such employees at the earliest.

A top official in the department has said that all the registered names shall be included in the list from time to time.
