Tyre-Less Tata Mobile Found Abandoned in Kulgam; Police Launch Probe

Kulgam, Nov 14 : A Tata Mobile vehicle found abandoned without its tyres created alarm in the Laru–Chawalgam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday, prompting police and CRPF to respond swiftly.

Locals alerted authorities after noticing the vehicle lying on the roadside with all four tyres missing. A team from Kulgam Police, assisted by 18 Battalion CRPF, reached the spot and cordoned off the area before inspecting the vehicle as part of routine security procedures.

Preliminary findings indicate that the vehicle may have been stripped of its tyres by thieves and later dumped at the location.

Police said a detailed investigation has been initiated to identify those involved and to ascertain whether any other angle is linked to the incident. (CNS)
