Tezmala T-20 Cricket Cup begins at Srinagar

Srinagar: ORZU SPORTS CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL TRUST in collaboration with GR BEIGH MEMORIAL TRUST on Thursday inaugurated the Tezmala T-20 District Cup, Srinagar Edition.

An official has said that, “This kind of cricket tournament is being organised after 35 years where each team from various districts of JK-UT are comprised of 7 Kashmiri Muslim players and 7 Kashmiri Pandit Players.”

He said that Landmark Pvt.Ltd is sponsoring this 10 day long cricket tournament at Radapora, Khanyar, Srinagar with the purpose of strengthening the brotherhood in J&K UT.

Cheif Guests and Special Guests for the event were Mr. Luddo Mr. Shabnum Gulzar (AD-SKIMS), Mr Sanjay Saraf, Mr.Ajay Koul and Mr.Ishtiyaq Beigh.

The organisers thanked the locals, especially Er. Burhan Shah, Mr. Irfan Koul , the J&K administration, JKP, Mr.Shafqat (From Sports Council), local youth of Radapora for making the inaugural event successful.
