Srinagar surpasses monthly average rainfall in just 2 days
Srinagar : In a span of 48 hours from 8.30 a.m. on Thursday, the city experienced 59.0 mm rainfall against the monthly average of 37.6mm.
This month has already recorded 57% excess rainfall and can go up-to 150%.
People in Kashmir think that monsoon never crosses Pir Panjal Range. However, during the last 2 days, rainfall was purely caused by monsoon winds.
A weak Western Disturbance will affect the UT from tonight. However , it will not have any major influence on the current weather activity.
