Srinagar Police arrested notorious drug peddler from Solina, contraband recovered

Continuing its efforts to curb the drug menace from society, Srinagar Police arrested a notorious drug peddler from Solina area and recovered contraband from his possession.

At 5:30 am today, naka party of police station Shergadi led by SHO Inspector Aftab Lone under the supervision of SDPO Shaheedgunj Shahjahan Chowdhry intercepted one Maruti Alto car bearing registration No JK13G- 0454. On search,  Charas like substance was recovered which the accused driver has concealed under the back seat of the vehicle. The drug peddler was identified as Faisal Ahmad Dar s/o Manzoor Ahmad Dar r/o Lademund Pulwama.

In this connection a case FIR No 79/21 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act was registered in Police Station Shergadi and investigation has been pursued.

General public has applauded the efforts of the Srinagar Police to curb the drug menace.
