Sopore Police rescues kidnapped girl ,arrests accused within six hours

Sopore, 01 September :Police Station Dangiwacha recieved a written complaint for assistance from a complainant stating that his daughter (name with held) was kidnapped by one namely Sahil Ahmad Dar S/O Abdul Rahim Dar R/O Hathishah Sopore.

Taking cognizance of the incident a Case with FIR No. 159/2021 U/S under relevant sections of law registered at Police Station Dangiwacha and investigation was initiated in the instant manner.

Accordingly a team led by SHO Dangiwacha Insp. Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani under the supervision of SDPO Rafiabad Shri. Nissar Ahmad-JKPS was constituted to rescue the kidnapped girl and to nab the kidnapper, by using all available means investigating team rescued the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused within six hours after complaint was received in Police Station Dangiwacha.

After fulfilling all medico legal formalities the girl was handed over to her legal heirs. Further investigation of the case is going on.
