Residents of Sonbrari Bala Kokernag rue the lack of basic amenities and demand a ration shop in their village

Anantnag ,25 October: The residents of Sonbradi Kokernag residents of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday rued due to a lack of basic amenities.

Talking to Arising state locals said that there is no ration store in the area due to which they are forced to walk several km to bring the ration.

The residents alleged that they have repeatedly brought the issue in the notice of higher-ups but on the ground nothing has been done.

Talking to Arising state Gh Rasool a local resident said that politicians often come here during election campaigns and get votes, however, when they get elected, they never visit the area.

He said that this village has been neglected on all developmental fronts.

The villagers are requesting the district administration Anantnag to look into the matter and open a ration store in village so that the residents of the village will not face problems anymore.
