Shiekh Nazir Mahdi appealed GoI to support sheikh Zakzaky
President Anjuman Jamiat e Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil Ladakh, Hojatulislam Shiekh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi called a press conference at his office today afternoon.
Meanwhile, addressing to the press conference he on behalf of the people of Kargil expressed solidarity and support to the Nigeria’s renowned Muslim Figure Shiekh Ibrahim Zakzaky. who is detained since 2015 by the Nigerian army. He said that sheikh Zakzaky is one of the oppressed figure in Muslim world. He appealed government of India to use its foreign office and show support to sheikh Zakzaky so that he could be released as soon as possible.
Replying to the questions about Iran-US ongoing tension, Sheikh Nazir Mahdi said that US Can’t dare attack on Iran it has already failed. We are always with the oppressed people of the world.
He said that Iran is one of strongest nation in the world and whosoever tried to attack iran has failed. referring founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini he said that US can’t ever dare to think about attack on Iran.
Shiekh Nazir Mahdi also Thanked to governor, Centre for giving equal share for Kargil in Ladakh division. He also thanked people of Kargil for their successful movement for their own rights during divisional headquarter row. He said that the people are well aware about their rights and they will keep continue this spirit of struggle.
Responding to a question about the recent former LBA president’s issue of sexual abuse, he said that Accusation on former LBA president should not be related to any religion. It is an individual issue and we strongly condemn it.
Meanwhile replying to a question to Kargil-Skardu road movement Shiekh Nazir said that Kargil skardu road movement halted due to pulwama attack. He further said that We have not forgotten it and We will keep continue our struggle because that is our right.
