Sheep husbandry department establishes new units in Pulwama

Pulwama: 01 Feb: Sheep Husbandry Department, Pulwama established 07 no. of 25 ewe sheep units and 01 no. of 75 ewe sheep unit under Integrated Sheep Development Scheme_50% Subsidy mode at various areas of the District.

The units were established under the chairmanship of Joint Director Ext. SHD Kmr Dr Ajay Sudan, Accounts Officer MC Pulwama Office , Technical Officer to DSHO Dr Ghulam Jeelani Ganie and Veterinary Assistant Surgeons of various Blocks.

Moreover, the department has already established 14 no. of 25 ewe sheep units, one no. of 50 ewes unit, one no.of 125 ewes unit & one no. Of 200 ewes unit till now, under 50% subsidy and 6 no.of 25 ewe ISBR sheep units under ISDS Scheme and 43 no.of ….. 10+1Mini sheep Farms among STs of District Pulwama under tsp scheme & has provided employment generations to youths through 06 six shearing machines during the current financial year 2021-22.
