Police constable shot at in Downtown Srinagar by unidentified gunmen

A Police constable identified as Iliyas of Kaw Mohalla Khaniyar was  wounded when suspected militants carried out an attack in Khanyar area of Srinagar on Wednesday evening. The attack was carried out in Kaw Mohalla area of the Khaniyar, the cop was rushed  to the hospital, according to the sources..Iliyas who was shot, after gunmen opened fire in Khaniyar area, is a selection grade constable and is presently working in police department’s intelligence wing at Handwara.
