Pattan road accident kills 2, injures 3

Pattan 01 Sep: Road mishaps in the Pattan area of Baramulla district of North Kashmir resulted in the deaths of two and critical injuries to three other people on Thursday afternoon.

According to reports, an accident occurred between a car bearing reg. No JK05J 1597 & Truck with reg no. JK05F 5941 resulted in injuries to at least 5 persons on the National highway in Pattan.

The injured persons were evacuated to the nearby trauma hospital pattan for immediate treatment. One among them succumbed on the way and another in the hospital they said.

It has been reported that all the injured suffered critical head injuries and were then referred to Srinagar for specialist treatment.

They identified the deceased as Mohmmad Sidiq Khan S/O Abdul Aziz Khan and Ameer Zaman Khan S/O Kamar Zaman Khan Both residents of Trikanjan Baramulla.

Pattan Police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
