NC leader Mustafa Kamal passes away in Srinagar after brief illness
Srinagar, July 14: Senior National Conference (NC) leader Mustafa Kamal passed away on Monday evening in Srinagar following a brief illness.
Party spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar confirmed the development, stating that Kamal breathed his last at around 5 pm while undergoing treatment at Paras Hospital, where he had been admitted for the past few days.
Mustafa Kamal was a prominent leader of the National Conference and the son of the party’s founder and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah. He was also the younger brother of National Conference president Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
His demise has prompted condolences from political leaders and party workers across Jammu and Kashmir.
