LS polls:Police constable dead, several polling officers, CRPF personnel injured in road mishap Kokernag

A police constable died and several others including polling officers were injured after the bus they were travelling on turned turtle in Zalangam village of Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday.

Reports said that a bus carrying polling staff, police and paramilitary personnel turned turtle in Zalangam village of Kokernag.

An official said that several polling officers, police and CRPF personnel were injured in the mishap, who were rushed to district hopital Anantnag where police constable identified as Hilal Ahmad Khan of Pulwama district was declared brought dead.
