LG Manoj Sinha Chairs High-Level Security Review in Jammu
Jammu, Nov 17: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha convened a high-level security meeting in Jammu on Sunday to assess the security situation across the Union Territory, following a spate of recent terrorist attacks.
The meeting saw the participation of top security officials, including District Superintendents of Police (SSPs), Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs), Inspectors General (IGPs), Additional Directors General (ADGs), and the Director General of Police (DGP).
The review comes in response to a surge in terrorist activities, with terrorists launching attacks in areas previously deemed free of their presence. The development has raised concerns about the re-emergence of terrorist elements in the J&K.
The meeting underscores the administration’s focus on ensuring security and addressing the evolving challenges in counter-terrorism efforts.
