Grenade hurled on another polling booth in Pulwama

In  yet another episode of attack on polling booths ,unidentified persons hurled a grenade on a polling booth in Tikan Pulwama . A police officer said the device, however, did not explode. Earlier, unknown persons hurled a grenade at a polling booth stationed in the  government girls’ middle school Rahmoo,Pulwama district of south Kashmir, which exploded in the compound. However, there were no injuries to any person. Currently the  voting for the last phase of the Anantnag parliamentary constituency is underway in Pulwama and Shopian districts. The Anantnag and Kulgam districts of Anantnag constituency went to the polls on April 23 and April 29, respectively.
