Governor, his advisor Ganai greet people on Ramadhan eve
Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik and his advisor Khurshid Ahmad Ganai have greeted the people on the commencement of the holy month of Ramzan and hoped that this auspicious occasion would be a harbinger of peace, amity, communal harmony, brotherhood, progress and prosperity in the State.
In a message, the Governor said that the holy month of Ramzan is a period dedicated to fasting, prayers and service to fellow human beings and the society and highlights the values of patience, self-restraint, tolerance and austerity, which promote feelings of compassion and respect for others.

Advisor to the Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai has also extended his greetings to the people on the eve of the holy month of Ramadhan.
In his message, Ganai, who is also the Chairman of J&K Wakaf Board & J&K Wakaf Council, has impressed upon the officers of the State Government, Wakaf Board and the Wakaf Council to make appropriate arrangements for the convenience of the people during the holy month of fasting and prayers.
The Advisor also conveyed his good wishes and prayers for the well-being of the people and peace in the State.
