Full Dress Rehearsal for Independence Day-2021 held across Kashmir valley

Ahead of the Independence Day celebrations, Police and security forces besides students from various schools and colleges had a full dress rehearsal of Independence Day parade today across the Kashmir valley.

Various contingents of Police, Home Guards, Fire & Emergency Services, Forest Protection Forces, IRP and CAPFs participated in full dress rehearsal for the Independence Day parade.

In Srinagar, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Shri Pandurang K. Pole-IAS presided over the parade. On the occasion IGP Kashmir Shri Vijay Kumar-IPS and other senior officers from Police and security forces as well as civil administration were also present.

In Ganderbal, ADC Ganderbal Shri Muzaffar Ahmad presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, SSB, P.T.S Manigam, Home Guard and students contingents at Madr-e-Meharbaan stadium Qamariya Ganderbal. Senior officers of Police, civil administration and other concerned were present on the occasion.

In Budgam, ADC Budgam Shri Akramulah Tak presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, CRPF, IRP, JKHG, NCC, students contingents at Sports Stadium Budgam. SSP Budgam Shri Tahir Saleem-JKPS, ASP Budgam and other senior officers of Police, civil administration and other concerned were present on the occasion.

In Baramulla, ADC Baramulla Shri Aijaz Ahmad Saraf-KAS presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, CRPF, SSB, IRP, F&ES, Home Guards, NCC Cadets and school contingents at DPL Baramulla. SSP Baramulla Shri Shri Rayees Mohammad Bhat-IPS and other senior officers of Police, civil administration and other concerned were present on the occasion.

In Bandipora, DC Bandipora Shri Owais Ahmad-IAS presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, CRPF, IRP, JKHG and NCC contingents at SK Stadium Bandipora. SSP Bandipora Shri Mohmad Zahid-JKPS and other senior officers of Police, Army, CRPF & civil administration were present on the occasion.

In Kupwara, ADC Handwara Nazir Ahmed Mir presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Forest protection force, and Home guard contingents at DPL Kupwara. ASP Kupwara Shri Raja Zuhaib-JKPS, DySP DAR and other senior officers of Police, civil administration and other concerned were present on the occasion.

In Sopore, ADC Sopore Shri Parvaiz Sajad presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, JKHG and J&K Armed Police and contingents from different schools at Khushal Stadium Sopore. SSP Sopore Shri Sudhanshu Verma-IPS, DySP DAR Sopore and other senior officers of Police & civil administration were present on the occasion.

In Handwara, Tehsildar Handwara Shri Aijaz Ahmad Khuroo presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, SSB, BSF & NCC contingents at DPL Handwara. ASP Handwara Shri Mashkoor Ahmad-JKPS, DySP DAR and other senior officers of Police, civil administration and other concerned were present on the occasion.

In Anantnag, DC Anantnag Shri Dr. Piyush Singla-IAS presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, CRPF, IRP, Auxiliary Police, Women’s Police contingents at Government Boy’s Degree College Anantnag. SSP Anantnag Shri Imtyaz Hussain-JKPS, SP Ops Anantnag and other senior officers of Police, civil administration and other concerned were present on the occasion.

In Pulwama, ADC Pulwama Shri Altaf Ahmad Khan-KAS presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, CRPF, Home guards contingents at DPL Pulwama. ASP Pulwama Shri Tanveer Ahmad and other senior officers of Police, civil administration and other concerned were present on the occasion.

In Kulgam, ADC Kulgam Shri Reyaz Ahmad Sofi-KAS presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, JK Homeguard, NCC, students & Ladies Police contingents at DPL Kulgam. ASP Kulgam Shri Zulfkar Ahmad-JKPS, DySP DAR Kulgam and other senior officers of Police, civil administration and other concerned were present on the occasion.

In Shopian, ADC Shopian presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, JKAP, fire & emergency service Department, CRPF, Home Guard and Youth Service and sports contingents at DPL Shopian. Senior officers of Police, civil administration and other concerned were present on the occasion.

In Awantipora, ADC Awantipora Shri Zaffar Husson Shawl-KAS presided over rehearsal parade comprising of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, Home Guard and Youth Service and sports contingents at DPL Awantipora. SSP Awantipora Shri Mohammad Yousif-JKPS, DySP DAR and other senior officers of Police, civil administration and other concerned were present on the occasion.On the occasion various colourful cultural programmes were also presented by the students of various schools and colleges.
