Football tournament inaugurated at Anantnag
Anantnag: A seven-day Football tournament was inaugurated at Anantnag district of South Kashmir on Monday, an official said.
He said that the tournament is organised by Guru Tegh Bahadur Sports Foundation Pune in Collaboration with Amrit Charitable Trust, Lions Club Pune and JK Sports Council.
He further said that tournament is being organised with the motive to spread the message of peace and harmony taught by Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, the 9th Sikh Guru.
“Named as Guru Teg Bahadur Hind Di Chadar Football Tournament, 8 teams will be participating, and will be spreading the message of Peace in the valley and across the Globe.”
The Tournament was Inaugurated by noted Sociopolitical activist, Advocate P.P. Singh, who was invited as the Chief Guest, while the Guests of Honour were Socio Political Activist, Dr. Harbaksh Singh, and a young Social activist, Manjot Singh Kohli.
