Director ULB Srinagar abuses, misbehaves with public

In yet another incident of high handedness by bureaucrats, Director Urban Local Bodies Srinagar, Farooq Ahmed Rather ended up as the subject of controversy after he allegedly abused and misbehaved with a public delegation , who had visited his office for the redressal of their greviances .

The delegation while expressing their resentment against the inappropriate behavior exhibited by the director ULB said, ‘the delegation while having an interaction session with the officer, the Director  turned fiery , abused and misbehaved with the delegation members  ,who had come to his office for the resolution of their problems.However,the delegation was insulted and intimidated by the director instead.’

The members of the delegation have appealed the Governor Satya Pal Mailk to initiate a stern action against the aforementioned Director and ensure that he should be  replaced with a seasoned officer who can meet  the expectations of general public in a decent manner.
