DDC Member Aripal Tral Manzoor Ganai Praises J&K Police’s Anti-Drug Efforts
Pulwama, 12 Jan: Manzoor Ahmed Ganai, the District Development Council (DDC) Member for Aripal Tral has lauded the Jammu and Kashmir Police for their ongoing efforts in the battle against drug abuse.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Ganai commended the significant increase in anti-drug operations across the Union Territory, which he said has been widely appreciated by both the general public and youth.
Ganai noted that since the current Director General of Police (DGP) assumed office, there has been a notable surge in anti-drug actions, providing much-needed relief to the people. He emphasized the importance of continuing these efforts until the last drug peddler is apprehended.
The DDC Member also called on the police chief to take action against officers who have been negligent in their responsibilities regarding the anti-drug campaign.
Ganai concluded by expressing hope that the current DGP would continue the community-focused initiatives. He also urged the public to support the efforts of the police in eliminating the growing drug menace in the region.
