DDC Bandipora orders action against two District Officers

District Development Commissioner (DDC), Bandipora, Zahoor Ahmad Mir Thursday directed disciplinary action against two district officers after they were found absent from duties.
The DDC had called an urgent meeting of few district officers on Thursday and two district officers were not present in the meeting following which action was ordered against the said officers.
The DDC also ordered to withheld the salary of two absentee officers till further orders and a show-cause notice has also been served to them.
He called for strict action against absenteeism and said that the district administration shall take immediate action on the unauthorized absence of government employees to ensure smooth functioning of government departments and prompt deliverance of services to the people
