Clashes erupt near gunfight site in Pulwama in south Kashmir

Clashes erupted near the gun fight site in Panjaran Lassipora village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday.

A police official said that scores of  youth drew near the gun battle site and pelted stones on security forces to disrupt the operation.

The forces, according to the official, fired live ammunition to scare away the stone throwers.

Meanwhile, the firing has stopped and the searches are on.
