Certificate course on mushrooms cultivation commences at SKUAST-J

Jammu: Tiger Division undertaking a series of courses at SKUAST- J for upliftment of youth and ESM residing in border areas. In this series, a Certificate course on Mushroom Cultivation for unemployed rural youth from border areas and ESM commenced at SKUAST-J on 15th Oct. The course commenced with opening ceremony at Mushroom Unit and inaugural speech by Dr JP Sharma, Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-J followed by training of farmers. The effort of Army towards building up of an ecologically sustainable economy in Jammu was praised by the VC, SKUAST-J. The motivated farmers were enthusiastic to undertake the training as it will facilitate them in opening a self-sustained Mushroom unit subsequently
