Centre deploys additional 100 Coys of security forces in J&K
Srinagar, July 26: In a major development the ministry of home affairs, government of India has ordered deployment of additional 100 companies of security forces win Jammu & Kashmir with immediate effect.
According to a communique of the home ministry to the state chief secretary of J&K state, dated July 25, the move to deploy additional 100 Coys of security forces is to strengthen the CI grid as well as for maintaining law and order situations in the state.
100 Cooys include 50 companies of CRFP, 10 companies of BSF, 30 companies of SSB and 10 companies of ITBP.
It is worth mentioning that out of 50 companies of CRPF, 09 Coys of CRPF deployed in Delhi (for parliament duty and Kanwaria) have been replaced by deployment of 09 Coys of BSF.
