Building Housing Kashmir Arts Gutted In Zakura Industrial Area

Srinagar, June 14 : A double-storey building housing handicrafts manufacturing unit suffered damage due to an overnight fire at Industrial Estates Zakura here, officials said on Monday.

Officials told local news agency that fire erupted in the building at around 1 a.m. Soon fire tenders reached the spot and doused off the flames. However, the fire caused damage to the building and the goods inside it.

“The cause of fire as well as loss due to it is being ascertained,” the official added.
