Budgam Police organised an Essay Competition at Khansahib

Budgam: 31st October  :As a part of week-long sports festival of District Police Budgam which commences on 21st Oct 2022 (Police Martyrs Day ) and will continue till 31st October 2022, Budgam Police today organised an essay competition at Higher Secondary School Khansahib Budgam in which 19 students drawn from 04 schools viz Higher Secondary school Khansahib, High school Raithan, High school Shanipora and IPTS Heights school Khansahib participated.
Zeeshan Ahmad from IPTS Heights school Khansahib secured the first position, Mohammad Abdullah Bhat from High school Shanipora secured the 2nd position and Shubeena Iqbal from Higher Secondary school Khansahib won the third position.
The essay competition consists of three topics of “Education is the gateway of Human development”, “Menace of Drug Abuse”, and “Women empowerment”.

SDPO Khansahib Shri Gulam Mohiuddin-JKPS alongwith SHO Police Station Khansahib Shri Samir Lone presented the cash rewards of Rs 1500/-, 1000/- 500/- , momentos and certificates to first three position holders respectively. Participation certificates were awarded to all participants of the event.
Refreshment was provided to all participating students.
Budgam Police thanked the participants for their active participation in the event to honor the Police martyrs.
The said week long festival is being observed in remembrance of the Police Martyrs.
