Bike rider killed after allegedly hit by load carrier in Banihal
Srinagar, 29 Dec: A 19-year-old bike rider was killed after allegedly hit by a load carrier (tata mobile) near Lamber Toll Plaza area of Banihal in Ramban district on Thursday evening.
Reports said that a biker identified as Ahrar Ahmad son of Mohammad Yousuf Tantrey a resident of Asher was injured after the vehicle allegedly hit him at Lamber Toll Plaza. The injured person was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to injuries, they said.
Meanwhile, a police official confirmed the death of the biker and said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard.(GNS)
