ANTF J&K arrests Delhi Pharma Firm owner linked to NDPS cases
In a significant breakthrough against the drug trafficking network, the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), Jammu & Kashmir, has apprehended Jatish Babbar S/o Harish Babbar, resident of South Delhi, who is the owner of Sakshi Pharma. The accused is a notorious drug trafficker and is already involved in three separate NDPS cases registered at Police Station ANTF, Jammu, details of which are as under: 1. FIR No. 45/2020 2. FIR No. 04/2021 3. FIR No. 06/2021 All the above cases are registered under Sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the accused was actively involved in the illegal procurement and supply of psychotropic substances, misusing his position as a pharmaceutical firm owner. His role appears to be crucial in the larger inter-state drug trafficking network, and further investigation is underway to unearth both forward and backward linkages.
