Another Security guard turns into doctor at GMC Anantnag, checking Blood pressure of patients

Anantnag:  A security guard turned into an autopsy man at GMC Anantnag last year, while another now checks the blood pressure of patients in GMC Anantnag’s casualty room, sources said.

The Arising state received video footage from sources at the Government Medical College Anantnag (GMC)in which a security guard is seen checking the blood pressure of a patient lying in a bed in the casualty room.

The security guard was spotted checking the blood pressure of a patient on a BP monitor, while doctors were seen consulting the patients in the causality room.

Nevertheless, a story about a GMC security guard becoming an autopsy man was flashed by Arising State last year. This is not the first time a security guard is monitoring patients’ BP.

In the meantime, talking to Arising State GMC Principal Dr Syed Tariq Qureshi said that he also received a similar complaint regarding the security guard checking patients’ blood pressure in a causality room, when there was sufficient  staff available for patients. He added that the hospital is under surveillance, and our investigation is underway.
