Akashvani Srinagar Organises On-Spot Skit on Jan Bhagidari in Cleanliness under Swachhata Hi Seva 2026

The skit was performed by the drama artists of Akashvani Srinagar and directed by Shri G.R. Akhoon, Programme Head and Assistant Director (Programming). Through an engaging performance, the artists highlighted the importance of cleanliness (Swachhata) and actively encouraged members of the general public to join the nationwide movement for a clean India.

The initiative aimed to create awareness among citizens about their collective responsibility towards maintaining cleanliness and to foster greater public participation in the ongoing Swachhata Hi Seva campaign. The Nodal Officer for the Swachhata Hi Seva Drive 2026 is Tsering Spaldon, Senior Administration Officer, Akashvani Srinagar.


Head of Office Gurbinder Singh said that Akashvani Srinagar continues to support national cleanliness drives by using creative and people-centric approaches to spread the message of Swachhata across the region. (PIB)
