Police officer, targeted by terrorists in Baramulla village, tragically loses his life.
A policeman, who was shot at by terrorists in Tangmarg village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla this evening, succumbed to his injuries, officials said.
Kashmir Zone police in a post on X, said that terrorists fired upon a policeman namely Ghulam Mohammad Dar at his residence.
Police said that he was shifted to SDH Tangmarg for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
“Injured Police Personnel succumbed to his injuries & attained martyrdom. We pay our rich tributes to the martyr & stand by his family at this critical juncture. The area has been cordoned off,” it said.
Police said that a search operation in the area is going on. (KNS)
