Samboora Encounter: 01 militant killed, operation on

Pulwama, Sep 27 : A militant has been killed in an ongoing gunfight in the Samboora area of Awantipora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources told a local news agency that one militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter, however, the identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier, As per the reports a joint team of Police, Army’s 50RR, and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Samboora after receiving specific information.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the party, triggering off in an encounter.
