Second Gunfight Breaks out in South Kashmir, Now in Awantipora Pulwama

Srinagar, November 01:Gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in the Khandipora area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.

In a tweet Kashmir Zone Police wrote, ” Encounter started at Khandipora, Awantipora area of Pulwama district. Awantipora Police & Army (55 RR) are on the job. Further details shall follow,”.

Pertinently another gunfight is underway in Simthan area of Bijbhera in Anantnag district.(GNS)
