Home Minister Amit Shah chairs security review meet on J&K in Delhi
Srinagar, Sept 09 : The union Home Minister on Thursday chaired a review meeting in New Delhi on the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, reports said.
Reports said that the security review meeting about J&K was held in the backdrop of Taliban taking over the Afghanistan and announcing the formation of new government.
They said that the meeting was attended by army chief MM Naravane, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and other stakeholders in Jammu Kashmir.
“DG BSF, Pankaj Singh and DG CRPF, Kuldip Singh were also present in the meeting,” reports said.
