Mayor conducts tour of Multilevel parking at Bus stand area

Jammu : Continuing this endeavour to provide better development & civic amenities to the people of Jammu city, Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation today on 09/09/2021 conducted an extensive tour of Multilevel Parking area at Bus stand Jammu along with officers of JDA,Motor vehicle Department & other supervisory staff of JMC, on the request of shopkeepers association of the market, met with them who put forth various important issues before the mayor which includes allotment as well as opening of all the remaining shops in the newly developed market, maintenance of better sanitation in the  whole complex, installation of LED as well as High Mast lights for providing proper illumination in the whole market and parking area to avoid any untoward incidents due to prevailing darkness. Mayor gave patience hearing to all their demands and directed the concerned officers to sort out all the genuine issued in a phased manner with in the stipulated time period and make it sure that all the vehicles should be parked in the stipulated parking area of Multilevel Parking to avoid any type of traffic jams on the road side. Besides this, Mayor along with Mahant Narsingh Dass ji Maharaj of Purani Mandi Mandir also inaugurated a well furnished Footwear shop in the shopping complex of Multilevel parking site of Bus stand area .The prop. of the shop apprised the mayor that all types footwear items of males & females have been made available here at a very reasonable prices.
