Gool Police launches special drive against overcharging and traffic rules violations

On the directions of *SSP Ramban, Sh Haseeb Ur Rahman and Addl SP Ramban, Smt Rajni Sharma,* a special drive was launched in Gool town and interior areas against Overcharging and Traffic Rules Violations by *SDPO Gool, Pardeep Kumar*During last few days a number of Complainants were being received by Police that Passenger vehicle drivers are indulging in Overcharging and Overloading in the interior roads of Subdivision Gool. To curb this menace a Special drive was today launched by SDPO Gool.A number of Passenger Vehicles drivers were booked for Overcharging, Idle parking, Overloading and defying COVID 19 protocols.A number of other drivers were also challaned for various other traffic rules violations, like using cell phones while driving, not wearing seatbelts, driving without a helmet etc. They were also made aware about COVID 19 protocols.SDPO Gool in this connection also appealed to the Civil Society and Media fraternity to spread the message among the masses to strictly follow traffic laws, so that precious human lives are saved. He further warned that such drives shall continue in the future also. The general public has appreciated the drive against Violators and the deterrence it will create.
