8.66% turn out recorded in DDC polls in Anantnag
Anantnag: Under phase VIII, which was also the last phase, polling concluded peacefully today for the Bijbehara DDC seat, Panch and Sarpanch vacancies in this block, and ULB vacancies in Municipal Committee Bijbehara.
For Bijbehara DDC Constituency, 3854 votes were polled out of 44499 total votes. Thus, a turnout of 8.66% for DDC polls was recorded in this Phase in the District.
Polling for Panch & Sarpanch vacancies in Bijbehara Block and for vacancies in Municipal Committee Bijbehara was also held.
