25 J&K Officials Selected as Haj Inspectors for Haj-2026, Deputed to Jeddah

Srinagar, Mar 26 : The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has sanctioned the temporary deputation of 25 officers and officials as State Haj Inspectors for Haj-2026 to the Consulate General of India in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

As per Government Order No. 475-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated March 24, issued by the General Administration Department the selection has been made by the Haj Committee of India, Mumbai. The deputed officials belong to various departments including General Administration, Finance, School Education, Revenue, Power Development, Health & Medical Education, Industries & Commerce, and Youth Services & Sports.

According to the order, the Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Departments have been directed to relieve the selected officials immediately so that they can report to the Executive Officer, J&K Haj Committee at Haj House Bemina, Srinagar, after completing necessary formalities related to foreign deputation.
