2 from J&K feature in NEET-UG 2026 state-wise toppers’ list

Srinagar: Two candidates from Jammu and Kashmir have secured top spots in the national toppers’ list for the NEET-UG 2026 examination, results for which were released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday.

Official documents  shows that Hadiya Nisar has emerged as the highest-ranked candidate from the Union Territory, securing All India Rank (AIR) 99 with a percentile score of 99.9931.

Another candidate from the Union Territory, Zaidan Wani, secured AIR 124 with a 99.9931 percentile.

Notably, the official state-wise toppers list identifies the highest-performing candidates from each state and Union Territory based on the NEET-UG 2026 results.

Hadiya Nisar and Zaidan Wani are the only candidates from Jammu and Kashmir to feature in the list.—(KNO)
