Srinagar, Dec 13 : At least eight policemen were injured, four of them critically, in a militant attack at Zewan area of Srinagar on Monday, officials said.
An official said that militants fired indiscriminately at the vehicle of 9th battalion Indian Reserve Police (IRP) at Zewan area on Pantha Chowk-Khonmoh road in which eight policemen sustained injuries of which the condition of four is stated as critical.
“All the injured have been referred to hospital for treatment,” he said, adding that the area has been cordoned off and a massive search launched to nab the attackers—(KNO)
