Shopian, 30 July:  In a tale of inspiration and musical talent 18- year- old boy Faizan Hassan has captured the hearts of music enthusiasts with his exceptional rap talent. Hailing from Chotipora the village of Shopian District, Faizan’s journey as a Rapstar has been nothing short of remarkable.

Faizan’s love for music ignited in 2020 and since then he has been relentlessly honing his skills, earning him widespread recognition. Last year, in 2022, he marked his presence in the District’s musical landscape with a captivating performance at the esteemed event, Jashn-e-Chillai Kalan. The event showcases the budding talents of the region and provided Faizan with an opportunity to shine brightly.

Pulwama another district, in South Kashmir also witnessed the young rapper’s mesmerizing performance during the ‘Battle War’ singing competition event and also in Srinagar singing competition event, his energy on stage, combined with thought provoking lyrics, left audience spellbound, earning him a dedicated fan following.

Faizan stating to unwavering determination, despite pursuing his studies in Arts at college, Faizan’s heart beats to the rhythm of music, and he is determined to pursue his passion alongside his education. “I believe music runs in my veins, and I won’t rest until I make my name for myself in the music industry,”

He is passionate about rap singing and aspires to elevate the popularity of this art form in the Kashmir valley, where its momentum has been limited.

Faizan further added, his talent goes beyond rap singing, he is a skilled player of violin, piano, and beat boxing. His versatility in various musical instruments adds depth to his performances and reflects his commitment to mastering different facets of music.

“I wanted to spread the essence of my rap singing to every corner of valley and eventually to the rest of the country,” Faizan shares with glimmer. He firmly believes that music has the power to bridge gaps and bring people together, transcending geographical boundaries.

In pursuit of h is dreams, Faizan is actively working towards getting selected for MTV Hustle, a prestigious rap singing platform. He sees this opportunity as a chance to showcase his rap singing talent on a larger stage, inspiring countless others to follow their passion for music.

With relentless dedication and hard work, Faizan is striving to secure and audition on MTV Hustle. He has been ardently practicing and refining his rap skills, leaving no stone unturned to make his presence felt in the competitive world of music.

Faizan expressed further, before music took centre stage in his life, he was working with a company earning a living and indulging in poetry as a creative outlet. However fate had something special in store for him when he met an influential person who changed the course of his life urged him to explore rap singing, intrigued by the idea, Faizan decided to give it a shot.

Throughout this transformative journey, Faizan credits his family’s steadfast, support for being the driving force behind his pursuit of music. “My parents never went against my decision to follow my heart,” Faizan fondly recalls.
